چکیده

dead brain patients (Boly et al., 2009), through its evolution in both healthy and pathological conditions, where DMN show inter-individual differences, abnormalities, and disruptions (for a review see Power et al., 2010). Interestingly, recent evidence on these DMN differences, abnormalities, and disruptions in both connectivity and activity coming from different neuroscientific domains can account for an emerging concept that we named the “predictive value” or “predictive potential” of DMN (Sandrone and Bacigaluppi, 2012). In fact, it is seems that DMN can be used as predictive behavioral markers and as clinical diagnostic tools, thus making the brain a sort of crystal ball. These predictions are highly heterogeneous and the current evidence are scattered between several neuroscientific domains: they range from neurological to psychiatric conditions, and mix up behavioral phenotypes and neuropsychological evidence, in an intriguing parallelism between connectivity and activity.

Comparing Prediction Power of Artificial Neural Networks Compound Models in Predicting Credit Default Swap Prices through Black–Scholes–Merton Model

Default risk is one of the most important types of risks, and credit default swap (CDS) is one of the most effective financial instruments to cover such risks. The lack of these instruments may reduce investment attraction, particularly for international investors, and impose potential losses on the economy of the countries lacking such financial instruments, among them, Iran. After the 2007 fi...

Neuropsychological and Neuropsychiatric Deficits Following Traumatic Brain Injury: Common Patterns and Neuropathological Mechanisms

Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) in all degrees of injury severity mainly induces deviant cognitive, emotional and behavioral alterations that lead to their respective disorders. This brief overview strives to define the variables that determine the risk of occurrence of these disorders and to describe the common patterns of these disorders and their relevant neuropathogenetic mechanism(s). In addi...

An Application of Genetic Network Programming Model for Pricing of Basket Default Swaps (BDS)

The credit derivatives market has experienced remarkable growth over the past decade. As such, there is a growing interest in tools for pricing of the most prominent credit derivative, the credit default swap (CDS). In this paper, we propose a heuristic algorithm for pricing of basket default swaps (BDS). For this purpose, genetic network programming (GNP), which is one of the recent evolutiona...

Integration of the Existed Knowledge on DMN: A Critical Review Study

The default-mode network (DMN) is one of the human brain’s networks activated in resting and self-referential thinking states. The nature of this network and its normal or abnormal changes has been the subject of various studies. The aim of this study was to systematical review and integrating the findings of that studies focused on the relationship of DMN with mental disorders and aging-induce...

Firing Pattern of Default Mode Brain Network with Spiking Neuron Model

Recently, analyses of fMRI data have revealed functionally connected and interacting spontaneous active regions in the brain, which are referred as ”Default Mode Brain Network”. The fluctuations on BOLD signals of the default mode brain network have shown spatiotemporally correlated synchronization at a rate lower than 0.1 Hz in contrast to signals under concrete tasks like high frequency rhyth...
